About the building:
Two Charlton Owners Corp. is a 16-story, 176-unit co-op in SoHo. Over the past decade, the building has created a roadmap for compliance by tackling upgrades step by step, starting off small with LED bulbs, submetering, and radiator covers, then moving on to bigger fixes like tuning the boiler to run more efficiently, upgrading the electrical room, and installing charging stations for electric vehicles in the co-op’s garage — all of which have helped the building comply with Local Law 97. Now, they’ve put the finishing touches on their suite of upgrades by installing solar panels on the roof, which will help offset their energy bills going forward. Each step has lowered costs and emissions, and offers lessons other co-ops or condos can apply.
Attendance is capped at 15 homeowners — RSVP now to secure your place.
